Terms of Service

The terms governing access to and use of the Gloziia app, websites, bookings, payments, and related services.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gloziia mobile application, websites, and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services") operated by Aranax Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Aranax", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, using the App, or clicking "I agree", you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) Definitions

  • User / You: Any person who accesses or uses the App, including customers and visitors.
  • Salon Partner: Independent salons, spas, parlours, beauticians, and professionals listing and offering services through the App.
  • Booking: An appointment made via the App with a Salon Partner.
  • Order Value: The price of the services selected at booking (inclusive of applicable taxes where indicated).
  • Wallet/Credits: Promotional or refundable amounts reflected in your in-App balance, where available.

2) Nature of the Platform

Gloziia is a technology platform that facilitates discovery of Salon Partners, appointment booking, and related payments. Aranax is not a salon or service provider and does not employ Salon Partners. Service fulfilment, quality, hygiene, safety, and compliance are the sole responsibility of the Salon Partner. We act as an intermediary/marketplace under applicable law.

3) Eligibility & Account

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use the App. Use by anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4) Your Use of the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract data from the App;
  • upload harmful code or interfere with security or availability;
  • use the App for unlawful, misleading, or infringing purposes;
  • harvest personal data or spam Users/Salon Partners;
  • circumvent booking, pricing, or payment flows.

We may suspend or terminate access for suspected violations.

5) Bookings, Pricing & Taxes

  • Service descriptions and prices are provided by Salon Partners. Prices may vary by location, time, stylist, add-ons, and offers.
  • Taxes/charges: Displayed prices may include applicable taxes/fees; where not included, taxes/fees will be shown at checkout.
  • Errors: If a price or availability error is discovered post-booking, we or the Salon Partner may contact you to confirm, modify, or cancel the booking with a full refund of any amount paid to us.

6) Payments, Invoices & Refunds

  • Payments may be collected on behalf of the Salon Partner via third-party payment gateways (e.g., cards, UPI, wallets). We do not store full card details.
  • You authorize us to process, hold, and settle amounts as an intermediary. Invoices/receipts may be issued by the Salon Partner or by us as their payment facilitator.
  • Refunds:
    • User-initiated cancellation (see Section 7) is eligible per the applicable policy and any Salon Partner rules shown at checkout.
    • No-show or late arrival beyond the grace period may be treated as availed or partially availed, at the Salon Partner's discretion.
    • Refunds, where approved, are returned to the original payment method or as wallet credits within a reasonable time. Processing timelines depend on the payment provider.
  • Chargebacks and payment disputes may be handled via the payment network; we may share relevant data with the provider to resolve such disputes.

7) Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • User cancellation window: Unless stated otherwise at checkout, you may cancel at least 2 hours before the appointment start time for a full refund; within 2 hours, fees may apply or refunds may be disallowed.
  • Reschedules: Subject to slot availability and the Salon Partner's policy.
  • Salon Partner cancellations: If a Salon Partner cancels or cannot fulfil a booking, you will be offered rescheduling or a full refund of prepaid amounts.
  • Some services (e.g., bridal, packages) may have stricter policies displayed at booking.

8) Offers, Coupons & Wallet/Credits

  • Offers/coupons are subject to specific terms (validity, user eligibility, min spend, caps, exclusions). We may suspend or revoke benefits for abuse or fraud.
  • Wallet/Credits: Not bank money, not interest-bearing, and not redeemable for cash unless required by law. Promotional credits may expire or be withdrawn.
  • If multiple offers apply, the best applicable may be applied per our logic; some offers are mutually exclusive.

9) Communications & Notifications

By using the App, you consent to receive transactional messages (OTP, booking updates, security alerts) via SMS, email, push notifications, or calls. Marketing communications are sent with your consent where required; you can opt out through settings or links provided. Message/data rates may apply.

10) Ratings, Reviews & User Content

You may submit reviews, photos, and feedback ("User Content"). You represent that you own such content and it does not violate others' rights or laws. You grant Aranax a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display User Content for operating and promoting the App. We may moderate or remove content that is illegal, misleading, abusive, or violates these Terms.

11) Partner Services & Safety

  • Services (e.g., hair/skin treatments) may carry health or allergy risks. Disclose relevant conditions and follow professional advice. We do not provide medical advice and are not liable for adverse outcomes.
  • Service duration and results may vary. Any guarantees or aftercare are solely the Salon Partner's responsibility unless expressly stated by us.
  • If you face safety, hygiene, or professional concerns, contact the Salon Partner and also reach us via in-App support.

12) Third-Party Services & Links

The App may integrate or link to third-party services (e.g., maps, payment gateways, analytics). Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party content or performance.

13) Data Protection & Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use, share, and secure your data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable rules. By using the App, you acknowledge our privacy practices.

14) Intellectual Property

The App, including its UI, text, graphics, logos, code, and content, is owned by Aranax or its licensors and protected by law. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted. Do not use our trademarks without written permission.

15) Open-Source & SDK Notices

The App may include open-source components or third-party SDKs governed by their respective licenses. To the extent of any conflict, such licenses will control for those components.

16) Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

  • impersonate others;
  • post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content;
  • solicit or facilitate illegal transactions;
  • bypass App controls (anti-fraud, rate limits, APIs);
  • book with intent to resell, mislead, or harass Salon Partners or Users.

17) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access (with or without notice) if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or for risk, security, or operational reasons. You may delete your account at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) will survive termination.

18) Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access, nor do we warrant the quality or availability of Salon Partner services. Applicable law may not allow certain disclaimers; to that extent, they may not apply.

19) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aranax, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including loss of profits, data, goodwill) arising from or related to your use of the App or Salon Partner services. Our aggregate liability for all claims in a 12-month period will not exceed the total fees (if any) paid by you to Aranax for the booking that gave rise to the claim.

20) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aranax, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your (a) use of the App; (b) breach of these Terms; (c) violation of law or third-party rights; or (d) User Content.

21) Force Majeure

We will not be liable for delay or failure due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, strikes, internet or power outages, governmental actions, or epidemics.

22) Changes to the App & Terms

We may modify or discontinue features or impose limits at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the App, email, or other reasonable means. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

23) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution (India)

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer laws, the parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days of written notice. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Kolkata, West Bengal, conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed (or appointed per applicable rules). Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for court-assisted relief and enforcement.

24) Notices, Electronic Records & Signatures

You agree to receive notices electronically through the App, email, SMS, or push notifications. Electronic records and signatures associated with the App have the same legal effect as physical documents to the extent permitted by law.

25) Severability, Assignment & Entire Agreement

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign or transfer rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
